Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Patson 'Sparks' Banda, thinks that he could train Brighton Mhlongo up to the standard of Kaizer Chiefs goalkeepers, Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo.

Mhlongo recently returned to the Buccaneers set up after long absence due to injury and is yet to play in any of the side's competitive games since the first match of the season in August.
Banda thinks that with the correct training, Mhlongo has the potential to be one of the top goalkeepers in the country.
"The boy has a bright future ahead of him and, with the right mentor, he can really go far. Just like the other Pirates goalkeepers, he sometimes lacks the basics and that's disappointing," Banda told Soccer Laduma.
"Brighton has it in him to become the number one goalkeeper, not only at Pirates but in the country! I'm not promoting myself here but if they can give me that boy for just three months, he will be battling with Itumeleng Khune and Brilliant Khuzwayo!
"Just three months because I'm a master goalkeeper! To me, Brighton is similar to Khuzwayo but lacks the fundamentals of the game. I know what I'm talking about and no one can question my credentials."
