In this week's edition of Soccer-Laduma, issue number 842, Santos goalkeeper coach Nigel Dixon talks to us about how things are going at the National First Division club - with the NFD Focus brought to you by Lucky Star.
The People's Team conceded just three goals in their opening 10 games of the season - but Dixon says that there is no time for them to rest on previous successes.
"I'm very happy but we can't rest on our laurels. We must keep going. In my department, the goalkeepers are doing very well and I don't want to take any credit away from them but obviously you know it is a team sport," he said.
"A lot of credit must go to the head coach David Notoane, because we start defending from the front. There are special defensive structures in place. When we lose possession, everybody's got a role to play so the team is organised."
Dixon also discussed the switch between Lee-Raoul Langeveldt and Pa Dembo Touray, with the former FC Fortune goal-minder replacing the latter as number one this season.
"Touray is on the bench at the moment, he had an injury and that's when Langeveldt took over. He's been exceptional. Touray, who comes with a lot of experience and is like a father figure to the younger boys, hasn't played at all this season, but he's still enjoying it. We make him feel part of every victory."
