New PSL Fixtures & Dates Confirmed

The Premier Soccer League has officially released new dates for the return of football, with chairman Irvin Khoza having already confirmed that the Nedbank Cup semifinals will kick-off the resumption on August 8.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates kick things off in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday, August 11 at Dobsonville, the chosen home venue for the reigning champions as they look to retain their title and try topple log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

Then Amakhosi will host Bidvest Wits the following day at Orlando Stadium – both matches are scheduled for 6pm.

Following a long four months haitus, the curtain will finally go up next month and champions crowned on September 5 during the final round of matches. The relegation and promotion play-off will begin the very next day. 

- The opening fixture of the Absa Premiership will be on Tuesday, 11 August 2020 at 18h00 between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates at Dobsonville Stadium.

- The last fixture of the Absa Premiership will be on Saturday, 05 September 2020. All matches on the last day of the Absa Premiership will kick-off simultaneously at 15h30.

- The opening fixture of the GladAfrica Championship will be on Sunday, 09 August 2020 between Real Kings and Cape Umoya at Tsakane Stadium and also Richards Bay and TS Sporting (both at 15h30) at TUKS Stadium.

- The last fixture of the GladAfrica Championship will be on Sunday, 30 August 2020. All matches on the last day of the Absa Premiership will kick-off simultaneously at 13h30.

- Promotion Play-offs will start on 06 September 2020
