Mpho Makola says Orlando Pirates can bounce back from Ajax defeat
Orlando Pirates veteran midfielder Mpho Makola has told Soccer Laduma that it's still early days and that the team can bounce back following their 3-0 defeat to Ajax Cape Town. The defeat means that the Soweto giants have slipped down the log from third to the fourth spot. "There are still 12 games to play and lots of points to play for so we can bounce back. That's a lot of game especially if you consider that it's only taken us five games to be in (the) third spot before our game so with 12 remaining games are a lot of time to recover," Makola told the crew. "It's not that we can't win games but we will need to be more consistent. This is how you win the win the league, it's about consistency and the remaining games will need us to be more consistent," added the midfielder.
