With his current contract set to expire at the end of the season, Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mosa Lebusa's future at the club is uncertain as he has yet to sign a new deal.
Sources close to the club have discussed Lebusa's position, especially with the arrival of Argentinian defender Lucas Suarez.

The insiders added that the addition of Suarez can negatively impact Lebusa's contract negotiations with the club."Yes, the talks had started for Lubusa's new deal but at the moment they are on ice. They may not renew his contract at all as the club has now sighed Keanu Cupido as well as having Lucas Suarez on loan with an option to buy him and that has affected the future of Lebusa at the club. Lebusa is certainly facing an uncertain future at the club. That's just how things are for him right now," the insider close to the Brazilians had told the Siya crew.
A second Siya source privy to information then mentioned that there has been interest in Lebusa from other PSL clubs, including SuperSport United, but no deal has been finalised.

"I can't say whether he will be moving to SuperSport United at the end of the season but what I can tell you now is that the arrival of the two defenders has affected his future. They are both central defenders who are expected to fill up that space where Lebusa plays. So, the contract talks have been put on hold now but let's wait and see what happens until the end of the season," the second insider observed.
Lebusa, 32, joined Sundowns in 2018 from Ajax Cape Town and has not featured in most Betway Premiership games this season but he has been given an opportunity at times.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
