Soccer Laduma reported earlier today that Orlando Pirates would be in talks with Platinum Stars midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele, regarding a potential move to Bucs.
It has since emerged that Pirates and Stars are in negotiations, however nothing has been concluded as yet. Ngele has been a long time target of the Soweto giants and it seems are adamant on landing their man.
Following today's meeting between the Ngele camp and Pirates camp, the Siya crew can confirm that the parties are locked in negotiations.
Sources close to the deal have indicated that Pirates are not far from agreeing on a price for 23-year-old's signature, although have suggested that player swap could be part of the deal. They are yet to discuss the player's terms, with discussions still ongoing.
The crew can reveal that both Wits and SuperSport United are monitoring the situation closely having also expressed an interest in the player. Soccer Laduma will monitor the situation closely and will keep you updated.
