Former Orlando Pirates striker, Marks Maponyane, thinks that the only time Jomo Cosmos fail to get the better of Bucs is when they're in the NFD.

Maponyane reflected on Pirates' poor displays against the bottom three PSL sides in which they only managed to scrape away with four points out of a possible nine.
"Pirates were in an unfortunate situation having to play three relegation-threatened teams back-to-back," Maponyane told Soccer Laduma.
"Something had to give, as happened against Cosmos. Those are the teams that always give you a hard time.
"Against Tuks, I think Pirates were lucky to win that game. Tuks should have scored two or three goals in the first half and then it would have been curtains.
"In the next game, they trailed 3-1 against Maritzburg in the first 45, though it could have been 4–1.
"Then came Cosmos on Saturday, who in my experience always get the better of Pirates. The only time they fail to do it is when Cosmos are in the NFD, ha, ha!"
