Pirates placed the 29-year-old on the transfer list, after the club's technical team assessed the squad and found that his services were no longer needed, and that he would not be forming part of coach Muhsin Ertugral's plans for the new season.
However, prior to the club's appointment of Ertugral, Majoro struggled to find game-time under Bucs' former coach, Eric Tinkler, and now the player will be plying his trade under the mentorship of his former coach once again.
The Siya crew spoke to Bafana Bafana legend Mark Williams to hear his thoughts on Majoro's move to the new Mother City club.
Williams asked, "It's quite interesting that Majoro is going to City, last year he was with Pirates and the same coach, Eric Tinkler, did not play him. So what is he going to do there?
"Majoro has experience, the boy is sharp and he can score goals and maybe that's what they need, maybe it's what he needs," the former Kaizer Chiefs striker concluded.
