Mark Fish's personal friend and former business manager, Glyn Binkin, has confirmed that the former Bafana Bafana player is alive.

Rumours doing the rounds on social media have indicated that the former football star has passed way.
Some social media reports have indicated that the former defender had been rushed to the hospital for heart failure, from which he later died.
However Binkin, a top football agent in Mzansi, has confirmed that there is no truth in those rumours, as the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations hero is alive.
"Mark is very much alive and kicking. Mark appreciates the concerns from the general public and all the messages that are out there, but like I say he is alive," said Binkin.

The South African football legend was on Twitter just a few hours ago, putting on a post that read, "Let's remind ourselves to be like Paul and not only finish our race, but finish it with JOY... Father, I want to be an overcomer. Thursday (Edited)."
