Maritzburg United chairman, Farook Kadodia, has stressed the importance of tonight's Absa Premiership fixture against Golden Arrows.

Speaking on the Premier Soccer League's official website, the chairman suggested that the KwaZulu-Natal derby could be the biggest game for the players' season thus far.
"Let's not make a mistake, we've had big games so far, but the one on Wednesday is critical to our fate.
"If we lose to Arrows, we'll be in big trouble. And even if we do win, we'll still be in trouble, but there's huge implications for the log standings," Kadodia said.
Having played 24 games thus far this season, the Team of Choice have accumulated 16 points from a possible 72 and are rock-bottom of the latest PSL standings and despite having a game in hand against 15th-placed, Jomo Cosmos, their chances of survival in the top-flight division of South African football looks all, but unlikely.
If Maritzburg are victorious against Arrows in KZN tonight, they would go one-point behind 15th placed outfit, Jomo Cosmos, with Ezenkosi having played one more game than the Team Of Choice.
"We'll be one point behind one team and two behind another with five matches to play. That will give us some breathing space," the chairman concluded.
