Mamelodi Sundowns have added Elias Pelembe to the list of players set for new contracts with the club. The Mozambican has been on form for Sundowns in the 2014/15 season.
The Brazilians are keen to add another year in their deal with the 31-year-old to keep him in Chloorkop for a longer stay.
The player's contract with Sundowns is set to come to an end in June of 2015.
A highly-placed source in the camp of Sundowns told the Siya crew that Pitso Mosimane wants Pelembe to stay with the side.
"You know the kind of (lucrative) contracts that Sundowns give their players. It's hard to refuse for the player, mainly at his age, where he knows every contract counts for him.
"It seems to be a good offer as well, knowing that he is one of the highest paid players, not just at Sundowns but also in the PSL. They want to keep him and they have already done that by giving him another year on his contract," said the source.
Alje Schut, Tebogo Langerman, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Lebohang Mokoena are some of the stars on the list of players in line for new deals at Sundowns.
