The Siya crew can confirm that Mamelodi Sundowns striker Eleazar Rodgers is currently training on his own.
The crew previously reported that the former Santos man was on the radar of PSL returnees, Cippa United, however, it seems their interests have died down.
The crew has learnt that Rodgers was left behind as coach Pitso Mosimane and his troops travelled to play friendlies in the neighbouring Zimbabwe.
The source further revealed that the player could be frustrated with his situation at the Chloorkop-based outfit, however, Mosimane is expected to decide on him by next week.
"He was left behind and he's training on his own. He doesn't seem to be interested in staying at the club but we'll see in the near future what coach Mosimane will decide. As you know the club was in Zimbabwe and only came back today. Yes there was interest from Chippa United but nothing happened. The player hopes to know soon about his future," said the source.
Furthermore, the crew has been informed that Bloemfontein Celtic, Mpumalanga Black Aces and AmaZulu have all made enquiries about the Kuils River-born player's availability, and it is not yet certain where he will eventually end up.
The crew will monitor the developments surrounding the Kuils River-born forward.
