The Siya crew understands that 20-year-old football protégé Siyabonga 'Chicco' Dubula is reportedly being courted by Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town who have been impressed with his natural talent.
Dubula had been invited for trials by Bidvest Wits, however has since returned to training with FC Cape Town.
According to the young midfielder he was approached by Sundowns' head of youth Sam Mbatha and senior scout Temba Ngwenya at the recent Metropolitan U19 Cup, both whom have touted the talented midfielder as a player who can possibly replace the likes of Hlompho Kekana and Teko Modise in the near future.
The former Chippa United youngster was also in contact with scouts from the Urban Warriors following good displays in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge.
"Sundowns seemed so interested in knowing more about me," Dubula revealed to the Siya crew.
"At their hotel….,"he further added.
