Motsepe Foundation Championship newcomers MM Platinum have announced the arrival of 16 new players, three from Orlando Pirates, and also unveiled their new kit for the 2022/23 season.
La Masia qualified to compete in South Africa's professional ranks after winning the ABC Motsepe League national play-offs in June.
On Wednesday, the Gauteng-based side unveiled their new signings and new kit ahead of their first game in the second-tier league against JDR Stars on Friday afternoon at Wits Stadium.
The Pirates trio of Shane Salarina, Sizwe Jaca and Neo Lebopa join La Masia. Salarina and Jaca penned loan deals, while Lebopa, who also played for UJ, moves to La Masia on a permanent deal.
And as reported by the Siya crew, Fuad Johnson was announced as a new signing following a brief assessment with Kaizer Chiefs.
La Masia also announced the signing of Liam De Kock from Stellenbosch and Yusuf Jappie from Maritzburg United.
The rest of the new signings include: Neo Bopape (Pirates/UJ), Oswald Johnson (Hungry Lions), Ronald Wee (La Masia), Nilo Hendricks (Wits), Brodwin Palmer (Black Leopards), Augustine Mahlonoko (Baroka), Sihle Ntshunshe (Stellenbosch), Aiden Davids (La Masia), Ayanda Rorwana (Chiefs), Corbin Woodington (Wits) and Smiso Ndlela (Spears of The Nation).
