Uthongathi 3-1 Maritzburg United
Holders Maritzburg United were knocked out in the quarter-finals after a late 3-1 defeat against Uthongathi on Saturday afternoon at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Mlungisi Khumalo gave the Cane Cutters an early lead but Tawanda Macheke replied for Maritzburg on 14 minutes from the penalty spot.
Fezile Gcaba restored the lead for the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit two minutes before time and Ferdinand Nkwuda put the game to bed just a minute thereafter.
Uthongathi booked their spot in the semi-finals and will play against Royal AM on Sunday morning after Thwihli Thwahla won their quarter-final clash against Richards Bay earlier on Saturday.

Royal AM went through to the semi-finals after edging Richards Bay 7-6 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time early on Saturday afternoon at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Somila Ntsundwana broke the deadlock for the Natal Rich Boyz just before the half-hour mark but Tebogo Potsane found the equaliser for Thwihli Thwahla early in the second stanza.
The sides went straight to penalty shootouts, where Royal AM prevailed 7-6 and booked a spot in the semi-finals.
Thwihli Thwahla will meet Uthongathi in the semi-finals tomorrow morning.
AmaZulu and Golden Arrows will enter the tournament in the semi-finals on Sunday, while the final will be contested on Sunday afternoon
