"Yeah, I think he can still play. He still has it in his legs. You know it's not about the age. It's about the ability to give what you still have. He still has the legs and the influence at teams like Chippa United or any team that he can play for. He still has it in him," Mphela told the Siya crew.

Mphela, who also played for Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns in his career, emphasized the importance of proper management for a player at Jali's stage in his career.
"At the age where he is now he needs to be properly managed. You can't play every game and even the training can't be the same like other players. And you know the position he plays is demanding and playing against youngsters can be tricky but I think the coaches know how they are using him. But he needs to be properly managed, that's all. Otherwise he still has it in him," Mphela concluded.
At 34-years-old, Jali has played many games for Chippa United this season and would be looking to silence the doubters and make a greater impact from the defensive midfield position.
