Orlando Pirates target Rainford Kalaba has reported back to training with his club, TP Mazembe, and claims that he is fully committed to the club.
The 26-year-old recently returned to the Congolese club following a post-African Cup of Nations break, and has finally spoken out surrounding the links with him and the current PSL champions, with whom he was reported to have agreed terms with in the last transfer window.
Kalaba explained his delay in returning to TPM training, stating that he's fully committed to his team.
The Zambian international told the club's official website, "After the match against Burkina in South Africa, I put away most of the media that have announced that am leaving TPM while I still have a current contract.
"It is true that South Africans have contacted me and we had some discussions. But there was never any question of signing with Orlando Pirates. It is the media close to the club that spread the news.
"As far as I am concerned, I respect my commitments with the TPM, that's the reason why I am in training on Friday."
The crew recently reported that it is believed that officials close to the respective clubs had leaked information, and it remains to be seen whether Pirates will rekindle their interest when the next transfer window opens.
