Kaizer Chiefs & Orlando Pirates New Signings Got A Taste Of The Soweto Derby

Last weekend's Soweto Derby saw new faces and fresh threads get a taste of life with Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, with supporters getting a glimpse at South Africa's biggest game.    Check out the derby day debutants in the gallery above!    The Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday saw Mzansi's two biggest clubs lock horns at FNB Stadium as Ernst Middendorp took on Milutin Sredojevic, with the Buccaneers coming out on top for the fifth time in the tournament's history.    Read: Downs Target Scoops Awards, Still Not For Sale   While only one of the players – Lazarous Kambole – who started the game was taking part for the first time, the second half saw the arrival of the likes of Fortune Makaringe, Bongani Sam, Gabadinho Mhango and Samir Nurkovic as they made their derby day bow.   Other new signings such as James Kotei, Kearyn Baccus and Kabelo Dlamini found themselves on the bench for the encounter, but weren't able to get on the field before the final whistle as the Buccaneers ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Augustine Mulenga and Thembinkosi Lorch.    Read: Ex-Pirates Skipper Among New Faces At Leopards' Launch   Next up for the Soweto giants are clashes against Highlands Park (for Chiefs) and Bloemfontein Celtic (for Pirates) as they get their 2019/20 seasons underway in the Absa Premiership this weekend, and there could be plenty of competitive debuts to come for both clubs.   Which new signing were you most impressed with in the Carling Black Label Cup?
