Pyramids' final opponents in the Egyptian Premier League have reportedly agreed to postpone their league clash.

Previous reports suggested that Pyramids' assistant sporting director Moatasem Salem requested that their league match against Ceramica Cleopatra, set for 28 May, be postponed so the Sky Blues can have adequate time to prepare for the CAF Champions League against Mamelodi Sundowns.
"We sent an official request to postpone the match due to its conflict with our continental commitments, but we have not received any response yet, which raises questions about the league's unfair treatment of the clubs," Salem said, as per WinWin.
According to Masrawy, Ceramica's General Supervisor of Football, Moataz El-Battawy, explained that his side was willing to support Pyramids' request to ensure the Egyptian side stood the best chance in the CAF Champions League final.
"The issue of postponing the match between Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra was raised by the Clubs Association," El-Battawy said.
He continued: "We proposed standing by Pyramids for their African final, and we had no objection to postponing the match. But due to the complicated scheduling, the association rejected the proposal."
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) revealed that the match could not be postponed as it would mean Pyramids' close league rivals, Al Ahly, would also have their last league match postponed.
However, the Red Devils' participation in the FIFA Club World Cup means they cannot play any later than 28 May.

Pyramids face Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday 25 May in Pretoria with the second leg taking place in Cairo on Saturday 1 June.
