While the venue for the game has yet to be announced, though the United team is set to include South African legend, Quinton Fortune, as well as Bryan Robson, Andy Cole, Ronny Johnsen, Dennis Irwin, Clayton Blackmore, Jesper Blomqvist, Louis Saha, Raimond van der Gouw and Lee Sharpe.
Meanwhile, the likes of Brian Baloyi, Lucas Radebe, Neil Tovey, Shoes Moshoeu, Doctor Khumalo, Shane MacGregor, Fani Madida and Donald Khuse will turn out for Chiefs.
Pete de Wet, the joint Managing Director of the ITM Group that is organising the game, said, "We are delighted to have a legends side made up of players from arguably the biggest football club in the world, Manchester United, visit South Africa as part of the Legends Live Tour. We are sure that this is a fixture that will appeal to fans across the country, in what will now be an annual visit from a Legends team to our shores."
"We saw with the visit of the Liverpool FC Legends last year how that captured the imagination of fans from all clubs and the people of Durban turned out in huge numbers at the Moses Mabhida Stadium."
More details of the clash will be released in due course.
