The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner has been playing his football in his home country of Zambia, for Zanaco. It will not be the first time he is playing in China, as he was on the books of Henan Jianye FC in the Chinese Super League. According to a source close to the deal, he will be linking up with Shillong Lajong FC who campaign in the Indian I-League.
It has further been revealed that the 30-year-old midfielder has signed a short-term contract with Lajong and will be linked up with another side, North East United, who are playing in a different league – the ISL.
"That's correct. First he will be in the Chinese League and then will be off to the ISL," revealed the source.
