The Siya crew can reveal that Innocent Mdledle is allegedly the professional footballer that appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court yesterday (Tuesday).

The news about a professional footballer that was arrested for assaulting an on-duty police officer in the early hours of Monday morning has been making headlines in local media.
However, the identity of the player remained everyone's guess, as the police and all the parties involved kept it under wraps until he appeared in court.
Following his court appearance on Tuesday, the Siya crew has been reliably told that the player is none other than the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns defender.
Sources have confirmed that the left back made a brief court appearance yesterday and was released with a warning, while investigation of the police is ongoing.
The Siya crew made several attempts to contact Mdledle on his mobile phone without any success.
