Andres Iniesta has expressed his joy at traveling the world as reigning World Cup winners ahead of Spain's friendly against Bafana Bafana at FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
The Barcelona star scored the winning goal in extra-time against Holland in the World Cup final and has since gone on to pick up the European Cup as well.
"We're happy to be travelling all over the world, in Africa, in America. We like to put on a show, be proud of our game and be admired all over the world," the midfielder said.
Iniesta then confessed his emotion at returning to the place where he scored the goal that made Spain World Cup champions for the first time.
"I went to the place that I scored the goal and it was a very emotional moment. In those days it seemed so far away, but now it is a wonderful memory."
"It was instinct. I was waiting for a pass from Cesc and even though I didn't hit it exactly as I wanted, it went in," concluded Iniesta.
