There's talk in the football fraternity that a few clubs could undergo a change of ownership in the coming months, though nothing is official yet.
Bloemfontein Celtic and Bidvest Wits are just two of the clubs that have made news for potentially being on sale, with Tim Sukazi of TS Galaxy and Mulaudzi Masala's TTM in the GladAfrica Championship going public this month with their intentions to buy up into the Absa Premiership for a piece of the topflight slice.

It means they would be prepared to spend in the region of multimillions to own a topflight status – anything in the region of between R40-60 million if recorded sales in the Premier Soccer League over the years are anything to go buy.
As recent as September 2018, Celtic's proposed sale to potential buyers Sinki Leshabane and Dr Moeketsi Mosola fell through due to a SARS debt they claimed owner Max Tshabalala had failed to disclose during discussions.
The two parties had apparently agreed to a R40-million price for the purchase of Phunya Sele Sele, but nothing came of it in the end.
Sukazi has since confirmed to the Siya crew that there is a May 31 deadline on discussions to buy Celtic, though the club this week said in a bizarre and contradictory statement that the Free State-based outfit was not for sale. The press release also "acknowledged" there were offers to buy the club and nothing was achieved.
But Sukazi has not retracted his statement, and neither has Masala, even though both the teams believed to be up for sale have denied that they are.
It remains to be seen whether they will join the likes of Thanda Royal Zulu, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Free State Stars, who were either up for sale or were eventually sold at some point during the Premier Soccer League era.
