Hlompho Kekana Has Spoken Ahead Of Mamelodi Sundowns' Clash Against Kaizer Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns team captain, Hlompho Kekana maintains that his side will visit the FNB Stadium and play for a win.

The Brazilians will lock horns with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in a mouth-watering Absa Premiership clash, as both these teams look to improve their position on the league standings and keep their title hopes alive.

The defending champions, Sundowns, are currently at fifth place, having played three fewer games than Chiefs, who are one position below them at sixth on the log.

However, a win for Amakhosi tomorrow will see them leapfrog the Brazilians on the standings, to try and get into the top four.

However, speaking to the media, Kekana revealed that as defending champions, Sundowns know exactly what to do when they visit FNB Stadium tomorrow.

"It's a very tricky one because they just changed the coach so you don't know what to expect on matchday but as Sundowns we expect to play Chiefs and not individuals so, we are going to play against a Chiefs that is very dangerous and we know about them, we saw when they were playing SuperSport, they were playing good football. So, we are expecting that and hopefully we get a good match," the 33-year-old said.

"As defending champions, we need to keep the form and try to show why we have been champions and try to represent our team and our people. The only things we can do for ourselves is (to) go to the FNB (Stadium) and try to win the match, it is possible and doable," he added.
