Platinum Stars' interim coach, Allan Freese, has finally been handed a full-term deal at the club, signing a new four-and-a-half year deal.
Freese took over from Cavin Johnson when he left to join SuperSport United last season, and has since gone on to win a cup double with Dikwena.
The statement read, "Platinum Stars are delighted to announce that head coach Allan Freese has signed a permanent four-and-a-half year contract with the club on Wednesday.
"Club management believe Freese is the right man to continue to grow the squad and turn them not into just one of the biggest clubs in South Africa, but also the African continent."
Under Freese's tutelage Dikwena have claimed their first ever MTN8 trophy, as well as securing the Telkom Knockout trophy, both wins coming over Orlando Pirates this season.
