Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Thela Ngobeni, who is on loan at Free State Stars, is impressing the Bethlehem club with his fine performances.

Ngobeni is spending the 2016/17 season with Stars on loan from Sundowns. Stars are believed to be interested in keeping him at the club beyond the current season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs player has taken over as the number one shot-stopper for Ea Lla Koto, since making a move from Chloorkop to Bethlehem this season.
"Free State Stars are interested in making Thela Ngobeni's stay with them permanent. They are expected to discuss their interest in the player with Mamelodi Sundowns before the end of the season," a source told the Siya crew.
The player's agent, Mirko Agnelli of WA Sports told would not confirm about the possibility of him staying with Stars.
"Thela is on loan with Free State Stars. As it stands, he will be returning to Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the loan spell," said Agnelli.
