Former Orlando Pirates coach, Ruud Krol has hinted at a possible return to South Africa after parting ways with Libyan giants, Alahli Sports Club, following the club's elimination from the CAF Champions League.
Bucs Management Divided On Tinkler
The 65-year-old former Dutch international told the Dutch media that he was still wants a possible return to Orlando Pirates, where he achieved great success, earning the Soweto giants a double treble in his last two seasons at the club.
"I've always been interested in South Africa, it's a beautiful country. The players have always been crazy for me and I have always kept in touch with their manager (Chairman)," Krol informed the Dutch media.
"So far I have not heard of anything about a return, however if it were up to me, I'm would be open to it," added Dutch legend.
The crew reported in this week's edition of Soccer Laduma (issue 911) that certain fractions of the Pirates management were divided regarding the appointment of Eric Tinkler as a permanent coach, with others believing someone with more experience should be roped in to lead Pirates.
