A former Mamelodi Sundowns youngster has jetted out of Mzansi as he looks to resurrect his career overseas.
After more than three years since former Sundowns youngster Xolani Mdaki last belonged to a club, as reported in edition 1220 of Soccer Laduma, the player has been presented with an opportunity to revive his career in Kuwait.
As confirmed by the player's representative Kenneth Yamongbe, Mdaki flew out of Mzansi on Sunday after being invited for a trial at Besa Pejë FC in Kosovo.
"Xolani Mdaki has been invited for trials overseas. After a long time in limbo, Xolani is currently at Kosovo second tier club Besa Pejë on trial," confirmed Yamongbe.
"He left on Sunday and the deal has been organised by me and my close partner Lebohang 'Guluva' Mashishi from B N International Sports Agency," said the representative.
Mdaki's last club in the professional ranks was Mansheyat Bani Hasan in Jordan, which he parted ways with the club in May 2018.
The defender-cum-midfielder previously also played for Chippa United and Swedish outfit Djurgardens FC, among other clubs in his career.
