Former Ajax Cape Town captain Travis Graham has opened up on his European ambitions, despite plying his trade in the GladAfrica Championship.
Pirates To Make Final Decision On In-Demand Star
Graham has been with Cape Umoya United in the GladAfrica Championship since February after being released by Cape Town City last season.
Graham spent some time with an unknown team in Europe, however a move failed to materialize for the midfielder.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the 27-year-old who was in the football wilderness for close to two years, after a contractual standoff with the Urban Warriors, has not given up on his dream of plying his trade in Europe.
"To be honest, I do harbour dreams of playing in Europe. Many people say age is just a number and I agree with that. It depends on you as a person if you really want it in football like in anything else.
"Some people only make it you know, in the top levels at the very late age, and I feel like me being 27 and still I still have enough time to, you know, go to Europe and I have that dream so I'm still working on it. But for now, taking it one step at a time. It's nice to get my career back and going," he said.

Graham's first point of order however, would be a strong finish to the 2019/20 campaign with the Cape outfit. Umoya currently sit in 10th position and have two matches left to play.
