Football Betting Tips - Here Are Tips Ahead Of Fixtures By Soccer 6.
Relegation candidates, Leicester City, will welcome Chelsea to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, 29 April, in their English Premier League clash. City have claimed four wins on the trot in their bid for EPL survival and are in search of a rare victory that could see them extend their lead over Sunderland. The Blues are on the verge of taking another giant step towards claiming the league title, having won four of their last eight visits to Leicester, losing only twice. They have also won their last seven league and cup games against Leicester, scoring a total of 22 goals and are unbeaten in their last 13 top-flight matches - winning nine and drawing four.   Free State Stars, who are still not safe from relegation, are up against Champions League-chasing Bidvest Wits at Goble Park on Wednesday. Ea Lla Koto have 28 points to their name and are five points ahead of the two bottom teams, AmaZulu and Moroka Swallows - with four matches left in the campaign. In their last league match, they beat Ajax Cape Town 1-0 through a Robert Sankara header. Wits, on the other hand, are in search of a win in order to topple Mamelodi Sundowns - who are currently in second place on the league table. Gavin Hunt's troops were held to a 0-0 draw by Chippa United in their last league outing, and will be out to claim maximum points.   AmaZulu, who have enjoyed a rich vein of form of late, will face off with Platinum Stars on Wednesday night at the Princess Magogo Stadium. Usuthu come into the game after a 2-0 win over Polokwane City in their last league match, and will look to ease their relegation woes against Dikwena. Steve Barker's side will have to win their remaining four fixtures and hope that Free State Stars falter along the way if they are to be safe from relegation or play-offs. Stars claimed a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns and could edge closer to a top eight finish if they overcome Amabesh'ankone.   Chippa United, who still have only registered one win this year, welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday. The Chilli Boys have had a torrid run that has seen them slip down the PSL table into 13th, with relegation becoming a possibility. Mich D'Avray's charges could jump as high as 10th place if they claim a win over Celtic though. Phunya Sele Sele fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss at home in their last league match, this after they hammered Mamelodi Sundowns 5-0. Clinton Larsen's charges are aiming to cement their top eight position and will look to claim a win that could push them slightly closer to fourth.   The highly-anticipated top-of-the-table clash between outgoing league champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, and the newly-crowned kings of the Absa Premiership, Kaizer Chiefs, will unfold at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday. The Brazilians have already relinquished their league title and will be out to consolidate second spot. The Amakhosi, who are expected to be given a guard of honour by Sundowns, thumped Polokwane City 4-1 to reclaim the league trophy last week. Stuart Baxter's team will be on a mission to break Sundowns' 65 points record set last season when they 'invade' Pretoria. The last league match between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw, with Teko Modise and George Lebese finding the back of the net for their respective sides.   Orlando Pirates, who are the only South African side still campaigning in a continental club competition, will be up against SuperSport United in a league encounter at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday. The Buccaneers have been disappointing in their last few outings. They lost 2-0 to Bidvest Wits before settling for a 0-0 draw against the University of Pretoria. Bucs are vying for second place which would see them return to Africa next season, but will have to overcome all their opponents in their remaining three matches and hope that Sundowns drop points in theirs. SuperSport are still licking their wounds following their Nedbank Cup semi-final exit at the hands of Ajax Cape Town this weekend and are aiming to continue where they left off against the Buccaneers - after Jeremy Brockie's solitary goal handed Matsatsantsa a Pitori a slender 1-0 win when the two sides last met.      Polokwane City, who are still in with the chance of a top eight finish, will line up against Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday. 'Rise and Shine' have lost two matches in a row and are aiming to get back to winning ways with only three matches to go. AmaZayoni, who also still harbour top eight plans, will be aiming to realise that ambition following their 1-0 win over Maritzburg United in their last league match.   If you are a betting person, here are tips ahead of the fixtures, brought to you by Soccer 6 and prominent South African players' agent, Mike Makaab.   For more info on this and other fixtures, go to the Soccer 6 website here or the Soccer 6 mobi-site here.   LEICESTER CITY V CHELSEA   League position: City 17th and Chelsea 1st   Useful facts: City have risen from the dead and have every chance of surviving the dreaded drop to the Championship. It's a reality few saw coming and coach Nigel Pearson deserves great credit for his efforts. With that said, Chelsea have virtually wrapped up the title and will go to Leicester looking to seal the deal. Expect the Londoners to be firm favourites in this one.    Mike Makaab: Chelsea win. They're almost there in terms of winning the title.    FREE STATE STARS V WITS   League position: Stars 14th and Wits 4th   Useful facts: Stars are just a point or two away from survival and will fancy their chances at home to a visiting Wits side. The Clever Boys have been quiet in 2015 and it appears Gavin Hunt's men could be thinking about their end of season holidays already. Expect the side from the Free State to collect at least a point in this clash.   Mike Makaab: Draw. Wits are never that adventurous and one point will be good enough for Stars.    AMAZULU V PLATINUM STARS   League position: AmaZulu 15th and Stars 12th   Useful facts: AmaZulu seem to be destined to fight for survival in the relegation play-offs. With that said, they still have an outside chance of finishing higher on the table. This means Steve Barker's men will be holding nothing back against a rejuvenated Stars outfit. Nonetheless, Dinaledi are playing some bright football, so this could be an entertaining affair in Durban.    Mike Makaab: Cavin Johnson really asks his team to play attacking football. I give the win to AmaZulu – they'll have a slight edge at home.     CHIPPA UNITED V BLOEMFONTEIN CELTIC   League position: Chippa 13th and Celtic 5th   Useful facts: Chippa have had a 2015 to forget, although they largely should be free of relegation trouble. Celtic have been inspired under Clinton Larsen but will be taking nothing for granted in Port Elizabeth. Expect a cagey affair in the Windy City.    Mike Makaab: Difficult one. Draw.    MAMELODI SUNDOWNS V KAIZER CHIEFS   League position: Downs 2nd and Chiefs 1st   Useful facts: Downs have had their title whipped from their clutches by a dominant Chiefs in 2014/15. This means Pitso Mosimane's men will have everything to prove in this Absa Premiership encounter. Chiefs may just take their foot off the gas, which could allow the Brazilians to win back a little bit of pride. Expect a few sparks in this one.    Mike Makaab: Ha, ha! I'm going to say a Chiefs win.    ORLANDO PIRATES V SUPERSPORT UNITED   League position: Pirates 4th and United 7th   Useful facts: Pirates have started to falter a little after an impressive return of results in the new year, and the fatigue caused by playing away in African competition might be taking its toll. With that said, Matsatsantsa are an unpredictable side at the best of times, so the final score in this clash could go either way, it seems.    Mike Makaab: SuperSport victory.    POLOKWANE CITY V MPUMALANGA BLACK ACES   League position: City 9th and Aces 11th   Useful facts: This game is largely a dead rubber as both sides are pretty much safe and have little to play for. Don't expect a classic when City take on Aces at home in Polokwane.    Mike Makaab: I'll go for a Polokwane win.
