Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Felipe Ovono, is unfazed by reports that he has attracted interest from abroad.

The goalkeeper played a pivotal role for Pirates in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign last year. As a result, the Equatorial Guinea shot-stopper and his teammate at the time, Kermit Erasmus, were nominated for the CAF Player of the Year award (based in Africa).
Following his impressive displays between the sticks, in November the Siya crew reported that Ovono had attracted interest from some clubs in Europe.
While Erasmus has since moved to Stade Rennes in France's Ligue 1, Ovono is struggling for game-time with the Sea Robbers.
According to Siya sources, Ovono has been on the radar of some European clubs, although his lack of game-time at the moment could affect his chances of making a move.
"There have been people monitoring him, but at the moment, he is focused on getting game-time at the club."
"It seems like Brighton Mhlongo is preferred to him at the moment, but he has done well in some of the games he has played in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge. He's still young and will get opportunities at the right time," said the source.
In the last Absa Premiership game that Ovono played for Pirates against Ajax Cape Town, the 22-year-old picked up the Man of the Match award for his sublime performance on the night.
