Soccer Laduma can report that Chippa United Assistant Coach, Fadlu Davids is currently in Ireland completing his UEFA B level coaching course with the Irish Football Association.
Davids named Chippa Assistant Coach
The 34-year old is also said to be joined by his brother Maahier, who is the reserve team coach at Ajax Cape Town.
The Davids brothers commenced their UEFA coaching course on Sunday, June 14. It's also understood that Fadlu attended a workshop in Barcelona, Spain prior to making his way to Ireland.
"My goals are to become one of SA's top coaches and will take every opportunity I have to further enhance my skills," Davids told the Siya crew.
"It's been long days of non-stop "football" practical and theory sessions running from 8am to 9pm. Fantastic learning experience because you have coaches from all over the world (France, England, Portugal, Brazil, Qatar) with different circumstances and cultures to coach in," added the Chippa United man.
Fadlu mentioned that former Manchester United and England international, Teddy Sheringham is also currently completing his UEFA A license in Ireland this week.
The crew reported earlier this year that Davids had joined the Chilli Boys as their new assistant coach.
