In issue 885 of Soccer Laduma it was revealed that the Randfontein-born player is still unclear about where his future lies for the 2014/15 season.
In a statement sent by the player's agent, Josiah Mphono, reveals that he is taking legal route in his attempt to get the player out of Sundowns.
"The only solution is for Jabu (Manqele) to leave the club. We are taking the matter to DRC. Let's be honest, Jabu is frustrated for not being part of the first team or even a chance to train with the first team.
"They are about five or six players monitored by Michael Manzini. The only solution is for him to leave the club and they (Sundowns) know that will make Jabu happy as he will be playing again.
"Jabu needs to play. He is 27-years-old now and is still left with one season and option of two years in his contract. They still want additional option to 2018. If he doesn't play now, how is he going to play at 31?," read the statement.
