Black Leopards are edging closer to relegation after playing to a goalless draw with Chippa United on Wednesday afternoon.
Mduduzi Raymond, Gregory Damons and Eva Nga Bienvenu were recalled to the Chilli Boys starting line-up after starting the Nedbank Cup final on the bench.
Leopards, meanwhile, handed a recall to Wiseman Maluluke in place of Sanele Mathenjwa as Ovidy Karuru continued up top alongside Rodney Ramagalela and Rodrick Kabwe.
Both sides were desperate to claim three points, but it was Vladislav Heric's who looked lively in the early stages although they struggled to trouble Leopards goalkeeper Jonas Mendes.
Neither side were able to find the breakthrough the in the first half but Leopards would need to improve if they are to have any hopes staying alive in the top flight.
Chippa shot-stopper Ismail Watenga was called into action shortly after the break to keep out Karuru's effort, while Thabiso Lebtiso was kept out by Mendes at the other end.
While chances were hard to come by, the hosts did go agonisingly close with seven minutes left on the clock when Kurt Lentjies rattled upright while Peter Maloisane was denied by Mendes in a one-on-one situation.
In the end, neither side were able to break the deadlock, leaving Leopards six points behind Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila with three games left to play.
