News coming out of Nigeria is that Enugu Rangers defender, Pierre Coly, is on his way to South Africa to attend trials at Moroka Swallows.
According to our sister website, SL10.ng, if not for visa delays, the 29-year-old Senegalese-born defender would have embarked on the trip to Johannesburg on 23 June.
Coly, who is regarded as one of the top foreign players in the NPFL, will be hoping to convince Zeca Marques and his technical team to offer him a contract.
If he signs for the Dube Birds, Coly would hope to emulate fellow Senegalese striker, Mame Niang, who established himself in the PSL while playing for Swallows before he moved to Europe.
Swallows have already signed Kaizer Chiefs midfielders, Lucky Baloyi and Philani Cele on loan as part of a swap deal that saw left back Levy Mokgothu joining Chiefs.
Meanwhile, as reported by the Siya crew, former Platinum Stars striker, Thabani Mthembu, is training with the club with a view of signing for the Dube Birds.
