Danny Jordaan Offers Words Of Encouragement To Wiseman Meyiwa

South African Football Association president, Danny Jordaan, has visited Wiseman Meyiwa to offer him words of encouragement during this difficult time of his life. 

As confirmed from Kaizer Chiefs in a press conference on Thursday, the Amakhosi youngster had his career come to an end, following injuries he sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

The 19-year-old midfielder was involved in a horrific car accident in November. Since the news of Meyiwa's early retirement broke, tributes have been pouring in on social media and other platforms. 

Jordaan and other SAFA staff visited Meyiwa to wish him a speedy recovery.

"Dr Danny Jordaan and his staff that included the medical head Dr Ngwenya and u17 Bafana Bafana assistant coach Ntseki, visited Wiseman Meyiwa where he wished him a speedy recovery and offered words of encouragement to the midfielder whose career has been cut short by an accident," confirmed SAFA on Twitter.

Chiefs' football manager Bobby Motaung explained during the press conference that Meyiwa will be released from the hospital next week.
