An important decision was made on the future of Mpho Makola at Cape Town City.
The Citizens have officially confirmed that they have renewed the contract of the 34-year-old, keeping him at the club until, at least, the end of the 2020/21 season.
"The club is delighted to confirm that we have renewed the contract of Mpho Makola, keeping the midfielder at the club until June 2021!" City revealed on their official Twitter account.

Makola joined the Citizens at the beginning of the season, where he went on to make 20 appearances in all competitions and served a four-match suspension due to a previous misconduct on a match referee.
However, Makola has established himself as a key player in the Citizens setup and they will look to rely on him much more following Roland Putsche's departure from the club.
In other news, as revealed by the Siya crew a few weeks ago, the Citizens also recently confirmed that Surprise Ralani signed a new two-year deal at the club.
