National First Division side, Cape Town All Stars have signed former Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper, Stefan van Neel.
Van Neel has been with the Urban Warriors since U13 which saw him progress through all levels of Ajax's prestigious youth academy, to eventually be promoted to the first team in 2012.
During pre-season, van Neel spent time training with Black Leopards following the departure of Dino Visser from the club, however the player and his agent felt staying in Cape Town would be a better option.

Van Neel will compete with another former Urban Warrior, Kyle Peters, for the number one spot at the club and told the Siya crew that he is grateful for the club's interest and looks forward to delivering his best for the club.
"I am grateful that All Stars showed interest in my services and I look forward to contributing positively towards the team's success in the NFD. It won't be easy, but the team spirit in the camp is really good, so hopefully good things can come from it," said van Neel.
Newly appointed head coach, Boebie Solomons will take charge of his first game in charge when Cape Town All Stars face Baroka FC at the Athlone Stadium this evening.
