Platinum Stars have confirmed that midfielder, Benson Mhlongo, will not play for the club next season after Dikwena decided against renewing his contract.
Stars General Manager, Senzo Mazingiza, confirmed to the Siya crew that Mhlongo will be leaving Dikwena after spending two seasons with them.
"Mhlongo had an option of a renewal on his contract, but as club management we felt that it was in the best interest for everyone to part ways," Mazingiza told the crew.
Meanwhile, Mazingiza revealed that the club was still in talks with some players whose contracts are coming to an end soon.
"We'll make announcements as soon as those deals are concluded," commented Mazingiza.
Players like Elias Ngwepe, Thabiso Semenya, Solomon Mathe, Bongani Nyathi, Henrico Botes and Siphelele Mthembu will see their contracts come to an end in June.
