Baroka FC has warned of a scam by a person or persons that are allegedly exploiting the unsuspecting parents of aspiring footballers about opportunities at the Limpopo club.

Bakgaga say the club has no relationship with the institution calling itself as 'the Baroka FC satellite academy', which is allegedly scamming people.
"Baroka Football Club would like to distance itself from an institution operating and referring to themselves as 'the Baroka FC satellite academy', the Limpopo club said in a statement.
In addition, Baroka's spokesperson Jimmy Ngobeni advised people to contact the club for any suspicious acts of wrongdoing.
"We don't have any relationship with that person or persons and are against the exploitation of parents charged the amount on the article, we therefore advice the people to consult the club if someone uses our logo or brand to advance his/her personal needs.

"We don't operate from stations, bus stops or next to shops, so we call our supporters and football lovers never to participate in all scams which are not released from the said offices of the club," said Ngobeni.
