The coach affectionately known for his black glove and his famous wins against Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs in the 2010/11 Nedbank Cup, has endured a tough season.
His troubles were not confined to the pitch, with a group of unhappy supporters confronting him, letting him know that they didn't want him anymore.
Bakgaga CEO Morgan Mammila spoke to the SIya crew revealing, "When Chokoe phoned us, we asked him to send us a report on the incident. Then after I suspended him he took us to the CCMA where he claimed that we owe him R1 million for that Nedbank Cup run and half a million for winning promotion in 2013. He was just taking a chance as all of them were given bonuses in the cup."
"The coach also claimed that those supporters were sent by the chairman, but at our club DC he apologised for that, admitted he was wrong and also withdrew the money charges."
Chokoe has asked to be reinstated as technical director, not as head coach, and is currently awaiting the verdict from the club which he can expect sometime next week.
