Lehlohonolo Majoro's improved performances and inspiring form has pleased AmaZulu coach, Ayanda Dlamini, with the threat of relegation looming.
Majoro has scored in the last two matches for AmaZulu, against Bidvest Wits in the 2-1 loss, as well as the 2-2 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic.

Dlamini is hoping for leading goalscorer Bonginkosi Ntuli to rekindle his form as Usuthu prepare to host rejuvenated Black Leopards at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
AmaZulu are left with only three games in their attempt to save the club's top-flight status, which they acquired in 2017 by purchasing Thanda Royal Zulu in a deal understood to be worth over R40 million plus an exchange of their NFD (now GladAfrica Championship) status which Amabhubesi acquired and renamed Richards Bay FC.

Therefore, the KwaZulu-Natal club wouldn't want another costly relegation to the second tier league, after having already bought their way back to the elite league twice, in 2005 – when they bought the top flight status of Dynamos, and 2017 respectively.
Relegation to the GladAfrica Championship would lower the club's value to around R10 million, which is what a club status in that division is worth these days, after Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila recently sold theirs to African All Stars for a reported R10 million.

Usuthu will need to win all their remaining matches to stand a chance of avoiding relegation, without having to rely on results from other matches, although they would finish on the same number of points with Baroka who currently have a superior goal difference if they also win their remaining matches.
Apart from the Leopards match, AmaZulu will have Stellenbosch and Highlands Park in their other remaining fixtures.

"Majoro has come up now scoring very important goals for us. It's good to have that, you need your strikers to score. I hope Bongi will start scoring again soon, because he has been scoring for us the whole season," said Dlamini, speaking through the club's media department.

"To have all the players that we have coming in and doing their job is very good. The players that are also coming from the bench are also making a huge difference," the coach added.
