AmaZulu had an impressive campaign under the leadership of head coach Benni McCarthy and his technical team, where they finished second on the DStv Premiership log and behind Mamelodi Sundowns.

Usuthu midfielder Makhehleni Makhaula was the big winner at the glittering function held at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium on Thursday afternoon as he walked away with the President's Award, Players' Player of the Season award and Most Valuable Player award.
Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Veli Mothwa was another big winner as he walked away with the Player of the Season award as well as the Golden Glove Award.
