Following their progress in this year's Nedbank Cup, Amavarara FC have seen one of their star players land a professional deal.
The Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit had a chance to reach the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup this year, but lost their Last 16 match against Black Leopards in February.
Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, had wished for the Brazilians to draw the Queenstown-based side earlier in the competition.
Meanwhile, Amavarara defender Sapholwethu Kelepu has been signed by GladAfrica Championship club TS Sporting as teams prepare for the resumption of the 2019/20 season.
