Speaking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview in edition 965, the 35-year-old revealed that he is currently scouting and coaching for former team FC Utrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie.
"I went to play there while I was doing my coaching badges. I have my first coaching diploma now and I'm almost finished with my second diploma.
"I was appointed as the U19 assistant coach of my former club, FC Utrecht, which has taken up a lot of my time," Schut told Soccer Laduma.
The defender played a vital role, when he led Masandawana to their first Absa Premiership title in six years in the 2014/15 campaign.
"I'm also a professional scout for the first team of Utrecht, so I have been doing a lot of scouting to see which players can fit into our first team."
"I have been really busy since I left Sundowns, because I have to do a lot of learning for my coaching badges, but I'm happy with my progress so far," he concluded.
