Following his shock release from Royal AM, Siphelele Luthuli's agent has weighed in as the midfielder nears his next move.
On Wednesday the Siya crew reported that Luthuli along with Sera Motebang have remained in Durban following their exit from coach John Maduka's side and have been training with Golden Arrows in hope of securing deals.
The former youth international played just one minute for the club all season as he was completely frozen out, despite their resolute attempts to hold onto the player amid strong interest from Gauteng's big clubs.
Now, with the player believed to have impressed coach Lehlohonolo Seema and his technical team, the player's representative Godfrey Mushanganyisi has commented on his future as he looks to conclude a move to Abafana be'sthende in the coming days.
"Ja, remember he was released, so there's a strong possibility that he will sign with Arrows," Mushanganyisi told the Siya crew.
The agent also addressed reported interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in the 26-year-old's services that has since dwindled.
"Let's just say that talks will always be talks. As soon as they wanted him, [Bloemfontein] Celtic subsequently started playing him less often, so I think that was the issue. But the player is ecstatic to get back into the game," he said.
