Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Stuart Baxter, says SuperSport United are one of the PSL’s top sides, and that he’s wary of the threat they will pose to the Amakhosi tonight.
The Glamour Boys’ 24-game unbeaten league run will be on the line once again tonight as they take on Gordon Igesund’s Matsatsantsa, a team that currently lie 23 points below them on the Absa Premiership table.
Chiefs need just 24 points between now and the end of the season to guarantee the league title, however Baxter says that they are treating no game any different to the others.
Speaking to Chiefs’ official website, Baxter said, “There will be no wholesale changes on Tuesday. There is no shifting gears or change of mentality from the weekend. We take all the games coming our way with the same competitive spirit.
“United are one of the top sides in the PSL. Besides that, they were active during the January transfer window period. They strengthened their squad, we expect a tough match.”
Chiefs take on SuperSport tonight at 19h30.
