The Siya crew can confirm that PSL returnees, Chippa United, are eyeing former Black Leopards goalkeeper, Dino Visser.
As the crew previously reported, the shot-stopper was linked to last season’s rookies, Polokwane City, however, it seems that a number of clubs are chasing the player although United are front-runners.
Speaking to the crew, the shot-stopper revealed that there are clubs from Gauteng, Durban, Cape Town and Polokwane aiming to land his signature. The crew is informed that the Mother City outfit are the Chilli boys.
“Yeah, there are clubs interested in me, but I’m still waiting for them to put an offer on the table and we’ll take it from there. The one in Cape Town is not Ajax Cape Town but Chippa obviously. We haven’t discussed anything in terms of the length of the contract, but we talked about logistics like finances and so on. Everything was discussed this week and I’m waiting for them to come back to me."
“We’ll know once coach Kostadin Papic is back in the country. He wants me there, so I will let you know. I’m not too fussy as to where I go but I want game-time, that’s important for me,” said the Johannesburg-born keeper.
Visser worked with Papic at Lidoda Duvha and it’s highly possible the duo could re-unite again at the Philippi-based outfit.
The crew will monitor the developments surrounding the keeper.
