Poznan Table Claasen Offer
Daylon Claasen Has Been Offered New Contract At Lech Poznan
Lech Poznan have made Daylon Claasen an offer for him to remain at the club, though there has been no agreement on whether he will sign it or not.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s future in Poland has been in doubt in recent months, with some claiming that he needed to offer more in a Lech jersey, however he has upped his game in the last few weeks, even scoring in their penultimate game of the season.
Rob Moore, the player’s business manager, recently explained to the Siya crew that the club have a two-year option on the player, but that Claasen’s stay at Poznan would depend on their qualification for next year’s Europa League, something that they have now achieved.
Moore has now confirmed that they have made an offer, telling the crew, “They have made him an offer to extend his contract, but we’re currently mulling it over at present.”
The Bafana international has put in a number of good performances for the national team since managing to secure regular football in Poland, and his current coach, Mariusz Rumak, says that he still thinks there’s a lot more to come from him if he stays at Lech next season.
